Headed up by Ron Johns, Mabercron Books Publishing was created to address the need for books which didn’t exist at the time, but for which there was a clear demand. Northcote House Publishers, based in Tavistock, is responsible for Writers and their Work, which was started in partnership with the British Council. An imprint of Tor Mark, Truran Publishing began by publishing books on topics related to Cornwall. However, it has evolved into a publisher that now also publishes books about Devon and the South West region of England. Truran Publishers publishes approximately 6-10 books annually and prefers to keep the designing and printing of its books within the South West region.
