Zarina gave The Great Christmas Knit Off by Alexandra Brown a glowing review last month, calling it “a truly uplifting and heart-warming read, which is perfect for the season of love”. Alex joins us now to talk about her real-world Christmas, outside the fictional village of Tindledale.
What is your favourite Christmas memory?
Christmas Day soon after we adopted our daughter and she took her first steps, of course I cried a river of happy tears. I swear she saved those wobbly five steps especially!
What festive traditions do you most enjoy?
Having shortbread biscuits for breakfast on Christmas day while we open our presents.
What is Christmas Day like for your family?
Full of love, laughter and lots of food.
Is there a particular gift you’re secretly hoping Santa will bring you this year?
Yes, a gorgeous pair of Dubarry boots, although they are no longer a secret as my very kind husband, aka Mr B, has already given them to me.
Thanks, Alexandra. Merry Christmas!
