One of the big book releases we’re most looking forward to in 2015 is The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes by Irish author and screenwriter Anna McPartlin.
It’s not often we can say we’re excited about a book that focuses on a woman in the final stages of terminal cancer. But this isn’t your typical tear-jerker of a novel.
In fact, when Kay reviewed the book last month, she expected The Last Days of Rabbit Hayes to be a perpetual weepy. She didn’t expect to form a bond with the strong, selfless and instantly lovable Mia ‘Rabbit’ Hayes. Not did she think she would find herself smiling – and even laughing – at the vivid and humorous characters and scenarios sprinkled throughout.
As a special treat, ahead of its January 1 2015 paperback release, we have an extract of the book just for you. We hope you enjoy getting to know Rabbit Hayes as much as we have. She’s truly a literary character that’ll stay with you for a long time after you’ve turned the final page – if not forever.
If you can’t wait for the paperback release, the eBook edition is available now.
