Betty Nelander has written an article in Palm Beach Daily News, reporting on the launch of BookShots, a series of short novels by James Patterson.
Below is a quote from the article:
“Best-selling author and literacy advocate James Patterson has launched a new series of short novels called BookShots — and Classic Bookshop has put them at the checkout so you can’t miss them.
The fast-paced stories aim to “transform the book business” and create “a reading revolution.” They are dubbed “all thriller, no filler.”
They are plot-driven for a time-pressed audience. Twenty-three titles will be released this year. They are less than 150 pages and priced about $5.”

These days when using the Internet is the norm, it seems many people want content, which is shorter, more quickly and preferably now. Patterson’s BookShots give such individuals books just the way they like them.
