1. Only write about subjects you are passionate about โย itโll show in your words if youโre not interested in what you are describing.
2. Remember to use all of the five human senses. Aroma in particular is often forgotten when describing a scene.
3. Donโt repeatedly use the same words within a story.
4. When you think youโve finished, read your work through just one more time โย preferably after not having looked at it for a while. Itโs amazing how many errors youโll see after resting your work for a day or two.
5. Have fun with your words.
