My Bedside Table by Sam of The Book Corner

This post was originally published at Novelicious.com and is now at WritingTipsOasis.com. WritingTipsOasis.com acquired Novelicious.com in June 2022.

Primary school teacher by day and book blogger by night, Sam of The Book Corner is here with us now, to talk about the current reads on her bedside table.

Sam's Bedside Table
Here is my bedside table. As you can see, it’s not really a bedside table, more a storage type box that I use as one. It’s pretty great though – it can double up as a table or a stool and inside I keep other items I feel I may need next to my bed. So, let me talk you through what is on top of my ‘table’.

First I have a pile of books at the back. These are all books that I am either reading or intend to read next. The one right at the top is my current read, which is a proof copy of You had me at Merlot by Lisa Dickenson. As you can see, I have a real range of books sitting there waiting to be read; I love variety in reading and try to swap genres after I have finished a book.

SamI also have an audio book, which I am currently listening to; this is How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern, along with my CD player in order to play it. I am currently only on disc one, but it is really, really good.

Other items you can find on my little table include two hand creams (just in case one runs out!), my Carmex lip balm, tissues and my television remote.

Inside my table I also have other audio books, packs of batteries for my CD player and a blanket for when it gets cold.

So that’s it! I don’t have a lot by my bedside. Under my bed, though – that’s a different story!

Thanks, Sam!
