Sunday Times bestseller and all-round lovely author Miranda Dickinson has signed a three-book deal with Pan Macmillan’s Caroline Hogg. Miranda’s first book with her new publisher will hit the shelves in late 2015 and is the story of an ordinary woman whose life is changed by a series of mysterious brown paper packages containing mysterious gifts. Doesn’t that sound intriguing?
Speaking of the new deal, Miranda said: ‘I am so grateful to the lovely team at Avon for all they have done for me over the past six years and I’m immensely proud of what we achieved. I’m thrilled to be entering a new chapter of my writing career with Caroline and the Pan Macmillan team and I’m excited to see what the future holds for my books.’
Caroline Hogg said: ‘If you’re a fan of women’s fiction, you’ll know what an inspiration Miranda is within the community. Her stories are all about following your heart and taking a chance, and that’s also the message she sends out to her readers through her fantastic vlog, tweeting and Write Foxy project. I’m still pinching myself that I’ll be working with Miranda – she is an absolute joy and combines her talent with tireless hard work. She’s a brilliant addition to the Pan Mac list and the whole team feels very lucky to have her. I can’t wait for 2015 to roll around!’An exciting development. We’re looking forward to seeing what this new partnership brings in 2015, too!
