Today we have a very special guest join us at e-Books India for an interview. His name is Ryan Biddulph, a professional blogger and author of the Blogging From Paradise eBook series. Ryan is literally living the bloggers dream, running his blog from exotic destinations. Read on to learn what he had to say.
Welcome to e-Books India, Ryan! We are absolutely thrilled to have you join us with for this interview. You have an interesting life story, which has led you to becoming a successful blogger. Can you please tell us a bit about your journey and how you got into blogging?
I got into blogging after being fired from my old job. My girlfriend told me you could make money online. I was hooked! There started my blogging journey although I didn’t start Blogging from Paradise until some 6 years later.
From your Blogging in Paradise website, there are some wonderful photos of you at some really exotic locations. Please tell us what it is like to run your blog while travelling through different and beautiful destinations?
Traveling through tropical paradises is so beautiful. I recall living in Kovalam Beach, India for 1 month in 2013. I loved it. We had a nice little house in the jungle region of Kerala but we were also by the ocean. “Freeing” is the word. It feels freeing to blog from paradise non-stop.
You’re the author of the famous Blogging From Paradise eBook series. Please tell us a bit about this series. What are some of the key topics you aim to teach people through your eBooks?
I figured that if I could go from having no experience online to being a full time, island hopping, pro blogger, anybody who wants to succeed online can do so. These eBooks are value-packed, super easy to understand, fun reads that are very inexpensive too. All of my single eBooks are only $2.99 USD which is about 191 Rupees. I want to bring millions of people with me so instead of pricing my products in the stratosphere, I write eBooks that most folks can afford without having to worry about buying them.
I also delve into making money online and I share my travel experiences too. I want to help online entrepreneurs live their dreams so I share mine to inspire them through my eBooks. As of this writing I have 35 books in the Blogging from Paradise Library on Amazon and I am adding eBooks each week.
What is the next title in your Blogging From Paradise series?
Umm….I am writing and publishing an eBook every 2-3 days now….so I’m not sure LOL! Seriously though, the next title is: 13 Proven Steps for Increasing Blog Traffic through Triberr.
Your own writing schedule is prolific. Can you please share a bit about how you manage to write so much, in such short spaces of time?
I just know why I want to write. I want to free me and my audience more than I fear doing uncomfortable stuff. So I shut everything out every day for 2-3 hours. I go to a quiet space. I write. I do nothing else. If every author did this they would be able to write 4,000 to 10,000 words every day as I do.
From your experiences of blogging, can you please share 3 key pieces of advice for budding bloggers who want to make a career out of their blogging work?
1: Know why and tie that reason to being free. Your love of being free must be greater than your fear of doing uncomfortable things, like writing a ton of eBooks or publishing a bunch of helpful, inspired blog posts.
2: Blog your passion. Passionate bloggers find the extra gear that all other bloggers can’t find.
3: Make friends with fellow bloggers – influential bloggers at that – by promoting the heck out of them and by commenting on their blogs. Whatever you give comes back to you multiplied.
