If you’re an author who wants your book to published by a large publisher in the United States, you’re most likely going to need a literary agent. Most large publishing houses won’t accept submissions directly from authors.
Therefore, if you’re an author in New York or California, you’ll find you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to locating literary agents – many of them can be found in these two states.
