How to Get a (Love) Life Day Eleven: Spend a night in the Chocolate Boutique Hotel.
If there’s one thing that’s sure to melt a girl’s heart around Valentine’s Day, it’s chocolate. 
Even uptight Nicola Brown can’t resist a chocolate mini roll in How to Get a (Love) Life. Until it's her designated mini roll eating time, however, she sits thinking about the smooth casing giving way to the succulent sponge underneath, made complete by the spiralled cream piped through it. While Nicola waits until precisely 1:15pm to eat her daily chocolate treat, we doubt even she could restrain herself when it comes to today’s prize.
The Chocolate Boutique Hotel, housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building in Bournemouth, is the only chocolate themed hotel in the UK and was chosen at one of the top novelty hotels in the world by The Sunday Times. It’s easy to see why.
There are 15 confectionary-themed rooms to choose from, which include ‘The Cocoa Bean’, ‘Seventy Percent’ and ‘White Chocolate’. Each bedroom has so-called ‘fillings’ consisting of silk wallpaper, truffle-coloured velvet headboards and dark chandeliers. A true ode to our favourite decadent dessert.
If you manage to make it out of your delicious digs, theming continues throughout the entire hotel. The bar is our particular favourite feature with its variety of c(h)ocktails including the Chocolate Martini and Chocomeister – white rum, creme de cacao, chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream. We’ll take three of those, please.
Today’s prize includes accommodation for two in one of the hotel’s chocolate themed rooms for one night, a bottle of award-winning bubbly and breakfast for two the following morning – including chocolate pancakes.
