Create a cupcake to be sold at Luisa Zissman’s Dixie’s Cupcakery with the Ellie Redford Cupcake Challenge!
Are you an aspiring baker who dreams of sharing your delicious recipes with the cake-hungry British public? Yes? Then read on. Whether you’re a baking mastermind or a weekend amateur who has learned everything there is to know from the soggy bottoms, beautiful wobbles and frothy peaks on The Great British Bake Off, we want your baking skills.
To celebrate the launch of There’s More to Life Than Cupcakes by Poppy Dolan, we’ve teamed up with the lovely Luisa Zissman – baking entrepreneur and 2013 Apprentice finalist. We’re offering one winner the chance to design a cupcake, which will be made and sold at the reality star’s bakeshop Dixie’s Cupcakery in Hertfordshire in November for a week.
To enter The Ellie Redford Cupcake
Challenge, we’re inviting you to submit your own cupcake designs based on the
main character of Poppy Dolan’s There’s
More to Life Than Cupcakes, Ellie Redford. You can either enter your own
recipe or a flavour combination suggestion. Get to know Ellie and then get
creative! We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
The Ellie Redford Cupcake Challenge will be open for entries until Thursday 24th October at midnight. Luisa Zissman will choose a winner in the week following.
How to enter:
To enter, email your creation to kerry@noveliciousbooks.com. Photos and design pictures are welcome (in fact, we encourage them!) but don’t forget to include the recipe or flavour combination. You can submit your entries via Twitter and Facebook too. Simply tag @Novelicious and include the hashtag #PoppyDolanCupcakes to ensure we see your entry.

Please try to submit viable recipes and flavour combinations. Bacon and egg cupcakes might sound fun, but we’re keen to find something sweet and Ellie Redford related that visitors to Dixie’s Cupcakery will love!
