1. Allison Brennan
Allison Brennan is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of numerous books; many of them are romantic thrillers. Examples of some of her earlier works include the Predator Trilogy, made up of The Prey, The Hunt and The Kill. A more recent book by Allison is Best Laid Plans, about FBI Agent Lucy Kincaid who is tasked to investigate the death of a congressman. This book is a part of the Lucy Kincaid Novels series, with the next instalment called No Good Deed due to be released later on in the year. 2. CJ Lyons
A former paediatric ER doctor, CJ Lyons is a New York Times bestselling author, and she is a twice winner of the International Thriller Writers’ Thriller Award. Examples of her works include the Lucy Guardino FBI Thrillers series, and The Fatal Insomnia series, whose first book is Farewell to Dreams and is a medical thriller centred on a protagonist called Dr Angela Rossi. The second book in The Fatal Insomnia series called A Raging Dawn is due to be released shortly. CJ has a very active Facebook page, and on it, she shares images that contain inspirational and thoughtful words about life, books and reading. CJ also posts about her books; giving her followers opportunities to get copies of them for free, or at discount prices, and she also helps to promote the books of fellow authors.
3. Joseph Finder
Joseph Finder was born in Chicago and spent his childhood in countries across the world including Afghanistan and the Philippines. He is a bestselling, award-winning thriller writer, whose books include titles such as Buried Secrets, Vanished, Power Play, The Zero Hour and Suspicion, among others. His most recent book is The Fixer about an investigative reporter called Rick Hoffman who loses everything, and ends back at the house he grew up in to find a shocking discovery. 4. Mark Dawson
Born in Lowestoft in the UK, Mark Dawson is a bestselling author of books in multiple series. An example is the John Milton series, which is based around a protagonist called John Milton who is a British spy, is discontented and is trying to put his past behind him, although he is finding it difficult to do so. Another series which Mark is author of is Beatrix Rose about an assassin of the same name, and is made up titles such as In Cold Blood and Blood Moon Rising. 5. Rachel Abbott
Based in Alderney in the Channel Islands, Rachel Abbott is a bestselling author of titles such as Only the Innocent, The Back Road, and Sleep Tight. Her most recent work is Stranger Child, a psychological thriller story based around a main character called Emma Joseph, her husband David, a stranger who enters into the couple’s life and a police officer. On Facebook, Rachel posts about bookstores and writers groups she is planning on attending. She also shares about her books, posts links to their trailers, along with photos of her at book signing events. Rachel also posts images that are non-book related such as vacation snaps.
6. Rebecca Cantrell
Rebecca Cantrell is a multi-award winning, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of a number of books, many of which have been written in series. Two examples are the Hannah Vogel mystery series set in Berlin, and the Joe Tesla series set in the underground of New York City. The Joe Tesla series, based around a protagonist called Joe Tesla who is a software millionaire, consists of The World Beneath and The Tesla Legacy. The third book in this series called The Chemistry of Death is scheduled to be launched soon. Rebecca is also co-author of the Order of the Sanguines trilogy, which she collaborated on with James Collins. This trilogy is made up of The Blood Gospel, Innocent Blood and Blood Infernal. Raised in Belleville, Ontario in Canada, Rick Mofina has been a writer of fiction since he was in grade school. A former journalist with experience of covering crime news, Rick is a New York Times bestselling author. His books, among others include titles such as Vengeance Road and Into the Dark. His most recent work is a book called No Way Back, based on a protagonist called Tom Reed, a crime reporter who has just quit his job, only to find himself back into action quicker than he might have imagined.
