Group organizer Nicole runs Books and Belles with help from her team of co-leaders and is happy to field any questions from potential joiners and other book club members. Books and Belles meets once a month at different restaurants and cafes in West End, Brisbane and welcome any women in the area who might be interested in joining them to discuss a common book, have great discussions, or simply to share a glass of wine together.
Some of the books that Books and Belles have gone through include “Bodies of Light” by Jennifer Down and “Larrimah” by Caroline Graham and Kylie Stevenson. 2. Lit Up by the Bay Book Club
Lit Up by the Bay Book Club is a book club for locals living or frequenting the area of Bayside in Brisbane. Lit Up by the Bay Book Club meets in Wynnum once a month on Thursday to share thoughts on a fiction or non-fiction book that is agreed upon in advance. Even if book club members are unable to finish the book by the time of the meeting, no worries! All are welcome to participate.

Leslie is a university educator and professional life coach, and welcomes participants of all ages and genders who are interested in reading along with The Vanguard Book Club for Personal Development and participating in the active discussions they enjoy at every monthly meeting.

Serving the community of readers in Brisbane, co-leaders Trish and Glynis are excited to welcome people of all genders and backgrounds to Lit Up Book Club. Since 2016, book club members of Lit Up Book Club have met up to discuss a book of the month at New Farm Library, their usual location.
