1. Boston Page Turners Book Club
Boston Page Turners Book Club is a book club based in Boston, Massachusetts. The private book club is organized by a group of dedicated group organizers, including Corinne. Boston Page Turners Book Club meets once a month to discuss the shared book of the month, mostly fiction but also including non-fiction books on occasion.
Some of the past books that Boston Page Turners Book Club has gone through include “Harlem Shuffle” by Colson Whitehead and “The Dud Avocado” by Elaine Dundy. 2. Science Book Club for the Curious
Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Science Book Club for the Curious is a book club run by co-organizers Daniel Rinehart and Bethany Zaiatz. Active since 2014, Science Book Club for the Curious has grown to a membership of over 2,500 members. Monthly meetings take place on the second Thursday of every month and are currently being held online.
For examples of the kinds of books that Science Book Club for the Curious is interested in, take a look at “Technically Food: Inside Silicon Valley’s Mission to Change What We Eat” by Larissa Zimberoff and “The Weather Machine” by Andrew Blum. From the fall of 2022, all interested can register to be a part of this book club on the Museum of Science website.

3. 20ish & 30ish Boston Book Club
20ish & 30ish Boston Book Club is a book club located in Boston, Massachusetts. Group organizers Meg, who has been with the group since 2010, along with Kyle and Michele, help manage this group, which has grown to nearly 4,000 group members.
Books 20ish & 30ish Boston Book Club reads include “The Swallows” by Lisa Lutz and “Annihilation” by John VanderMeer. 20ish & 30ish Boston Book Club meetings are held online on the first Wednesday of every month. The book club is happy to read books of various fiction and non-fiction books and will often jump between different genres throughout the year.

4. Boston Ladies’ Fantasy Book Club
Located in Boston, Massachusetts, Boston Ladies’ Fantasy Book Club is a book club targeted at women who love reading fantasy novels. Book club members meet online once a month to have conversations and discussions about book contents and topics arising from the book.
“Light From Uncommon Stars” by Ryka Aoki and “Once and Future Witches” by Alix E. Harrow is a few books that Boston Ladies’ Fantasy Book Club has read through together. Book meetings take place on the first Wednesday of every month, and there is a $5 annual fee that’s required of book club members who decide to stay past Boston Ladies’ Fantasy Book Club’s 90-day trial period.

5. Boston YA Book Club
Boston YA Book Club is a book club geared towards people who love young adult novels. Through their monthly book club meetings, held both online and in-person on usually the first or second Wednesday of the month, Boston YA Book Club looks to create a positive space for sharing opinions and meeting with other fans of the genre.
For an idea of the kinds of books that Boston YA Book Club likes to read, check out “What if It’s Us” by Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli and “One Last Stop” by Casey McQuiston. Today, Boston YA Book Club has over 600 book club member who are of all genders and walks of life, looking to explore any and all books of young adult fiction.

6. Medford Non-Fiction Book Club Meetup
Situated in Medford, Massachusetts, Medford Non-Fiction Book Club Meetup is a book club that gathers book club members to share discussions and thoughts on monthly non-fiction books on various topics. Book club organizer Marla K is responsible for organizing Medford Non-Fiction Book Club Meetup and has brought together nearly 200 book club members.
Medford Non-Fiction Book Club Meetup has gone over non-fiction books like “David and Goliath” by Malcolm Gladwell and “Into Thin Air” by Jon Krakauer. Book club meetings are held online on the first Tuesday of every month in the evenings.

7. Classic Books
Classic Books is a book club led by book club co-organizers Bill W and Arlinda S who have been a part of the book club since 2007. Today, the book club has over 2,000 book members who enjoy reading classic literature like Anna Karenina or Don Quixote, among other wonderful pieces of writing.

8. Cambridge Book Club
Serving the population of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Cambridge Book Club is a book club with currently over 1,400 active book club members. The book club readers both fiction and non-fiction books and has been an active part of the Cambridge, Massachusetts community for over six years now.
“Escape from Freedom” by Erich Fromm and “Wish You Were Here” by Graham Smith are a few examples of books that Cambridge Book Club has covered during its monthly book club meetings in the past. Meetings take place online on the second Tuesday of every month. Cambridge Book Club welcomes participants of all genders and background to participate in their book discussions.

9. Boston Gay Men’s Book Club
Boston Gay Men’s Book Club is a book club situated in Boston, Massachusetts, welcoming gay men who enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction literature. 10. Mindfulness Book Club and Practice
Boston, Massachusetts is home to Mindfulness Book Club and Practice. This book club discusses shared monthly reading material on mindfulness, compassion and Buddhism and encourages discussions and the active practice of mindfulness. Along with their book club discussions, Mindfulness Book Club and Practice offers free mindfulness classes taught by Sarah Valley, author and also co-organizer of Mindfulness Book Club and Practice.
Mindfulness Book Club and Practice’s online book club meetings discuss reading material like “The Body Keeps the Score” by Dr. Van Der Kolk and “When Things Fall Apart” by Pema Chodron. Book club discussions take place online on the second or third Monday of every month.
