By Novelicious

This post was originally published at Novelicious.com and is now at WritingTipsOasis.com. WritingTipsOasis.com acquired Novelicious.com in June 2022.

Conditional Love author Cathy Bramley offers her top five writing tips for writers.

Cathy Bramley1. Write every day, even if it’s only a paragraph, or some notes for a forthcoming scene. It will help keep the story in your mind

2. I recommend two books: On Writing by Stephen King and Rock Your Plot by Cathy Yardley.

3. Get yourself a network of other writers, even if it’s online. The support is invaluable, particularly on a rough day.

4. If you have a good idea, write it down, you won’t remember it!

5. Read, read, read! I have focused on reading books in my chosen genre for the moment to familiarise myself with the market, although I treat myself to something a little darker every so often.
