Repositional notes, post-its or sticky notes; whatever you want to call them, they're a brilliantly useful invention. They’re good for taking notes, plotting out books, using as bookmarks, leaving notes on the fridge, and for playing that party game where everyone has one with a name on it stuck to their forehead and has to guess who they are… I’ve always been fond of the classic square Post-It, and have several pads in different colours, but now sticky notes are even better. They come in lots of different shapes and patterns, making them even more covetable.
1. These Lollipop Sticky Notes from Urban Outfitters are so bright and cheery they'd lighten even the most sombre of desks. You get 100 sheets in a pack and they cost £4.
2. The Note To Self pad of sticky notes mimics a standard office memo, but with excellent tick-box suggestions such as 'put in novel' and 'burn ASAP'. £2.95 from Waterstones.
3. I can see these speech bubble sticky notes provoking excellent (and very possibly hilarious) note-based communcation in my house. Say It notes from Not On The High Street. £3.50 for a pack which includes three pads of different sizes.
4. Bring lo-fi style to your office with sticky notes that are exactly the same size and shape as a cassette tape (oldy-timey compact disc). A pad with sixty sheets costs £2.95 from Fred Aldous.
5. Toast is probably my favourite food
stuff of all time (not an exaggeration) so these Toasty Notes would be
a liability in my office… I'd be salivating all over my paperwork. Just think of the mess! For the more controlled amongst you, these
sticky notes would make a fun addition to your office or kitchen. Or the perfect gift for a bread-obsessed friend or relative. Toasty Notes are currently on sale at £4.49 (usual price, £5.99) from The Gift And Gadget Store.
