Lois Walden’s latest book, Afterworld, was recently released and is a gothic, multi-generational tale about identity, family history, guilt, love and longing. Today Lois has given us her top five writing tips.
2. Don’t be afraid to write longhand.
3. Get a great editor.
4. Be willing to throw everything you’ve written in the morning out the window in the afternoon.
5. Be willing to stare at the blank page every morning while you drink the green tea. Don’t be afraid if absolutely nothing happens. Allow yourself to be surprised and expect the unexpected.
