Here’s a little writing exercise to kick start your week. Use it as a simple exercise to grease your writing wheels. You never know, it might even be the start of a new short story or full-blown novel.
Retrieve a book from your shelves (a book you have already read and finished) and copy down the last line. That last line is now the beginning of your story. Make the words your own and create a beginning from an ending.
