Onfm By Amanda Keats

This week I will be on ONFMradio (101.4fm) for Novelicious (tune in on Friday at 4pm if you dare…) discussing romance in fiction and how it's changed over the years. Joining me in this debate will be authors Michele Gorman and Polly Courtney.
I'd love to get the opinion of some of our readers on the below questions – can you help me out?

So, why does romance in chick lit appeal to so many women – and does it ruin our chances for a happy relationship by creating impossible ideals?
Do we expect too much and feel cheated when our man doesn't turn out to be Mr Darcy?

Our heroines have clearly changed over the years from Elizabeth Bennet to Bridget Jones, but do they dream of more than just the perfect man?

Are they now career-driven, ambitious ladies or just looking for a man to complete them?

Ultimately, is romance in fiction a good thing or a bad thing?

Let me know what you think below…
Cheers and don't forget to tune in!
