I want to keep this review free of spoilers. Which might make it all of about 50 words long. So here it is: This book is about a relationship spanning years between Ryan and Molly. It is a book about kisses, their kisses. It is amusing, heart-warming, gorgeous and moving. If you like any kind of women's fiction you will adore this warm book with its wonderfully eclectic cast of characters.
Molly is complicated without being irritating. You can identify with her frustrations at being in love, being young and uncertain about settling down. Ryan is a simple soul and an absurd delight. A man who has his priorities right: who wants to put his relationship and his family first. The infuriating best friends, Casey and Mia, added something extra to this already gripping read. The relationship between friends, some of whom have been on the scene forever, is explored with honesty and humour.
The story is not told chronologically, which I loved, and is set against the backdrop of Molly packing up her flat into boxes. This return to the present is intriguing and you are always guessing as to what has happened. And that is where I shall leave it. You'll be chuckling, you'll have tears running down your face and you'll be wanting to lend it to your friends.
