During a recent interview with Sophie Kinsella, whose latest novel Wedding Night is out now, we couldn’t resist asking for her top five writing tips (who wouldn’t want to know how to channel some Kinsella magic when writing?). Here’s what the Shopaholic author had to say.
1. Write the book that you want to read.
2. Don’t tell anyone what you’re writing.
3. Always write something – you may change it later, but at least you’re keeping going.
4. Get to the end!
5. Enjoy it. It’s frustrating – but it’s great fun too.
